What does it cost?
Nothing to list. Founding Breeders have three months free, and after that listing stays free unless you choose a paid tier for visibility. The only fee is 3.5% of the price, charged only when a sale is completed and final.
What makes a "quality breeder"?
Own breeding, or a yard with its horses registered in a recognised studbook; passports in order; horses that can be seen. We check every horse before it is shown, and we decline — kindly — when it does not hold up. That is what makes the mark worth having.
Does a horse have to be for sale?
No. Each horse is Open (for sale, with a price), Showcase (shown without a price — buyers can only ask you) or Quiet (a private record, not on the website). You choose per horse and change it in one tap.
What does "Professional listing" include?
Our inspector visits your yard, photographs each horse at 30+ standardised angles, records a trot-up video, and creates the listing on your behalf. You review and approve before it goes live.
How many horses can I list?
As many as you have. The Founding Breeder programme covers your whole yard — from semen and foals to broodmares — not just one horse.
Do I need to be exclusively on HorseStox?
No. You can list your horses on any platform simultaneously. We only ask that your HorseStox listing is kept up to date and removed when a horse sells.
When does HorseStox go live?
horsestox.com is live now. Your listing will appear as soon as our inspector has visited and you have approved the content.
